This was a special one. I met Lindsey at my pottery studio a few years ago. She had recently lost her first baby just after he was born. She was taking the year to grieve and heal, and make beautiful pottery in memory of her sweet Noah. Over that time, she created the loveliest collection of ceramics that was sold in honour of her little one - with all the proceeds going to the children's hospital in Noah's memory. On this day, we walked into the deep green forest with the newest member of L+D's family - little A who had just turned one. They walked and played and visited a special tree and (as Lindsey said) they felt that Noah was there with them. It was an honour to capture a little slice of their whole family in such a deeply meaningful, magical place.
