You know when you meet someone and it seems like you’ve known each other your whole life? Conversation comes easy and there is a connection that runs deeper than the time you have spent together. You realize you’ve had one degree of separation for years… many mutual friends and interests. Felicia is one of those people. She is a gem. We first met for coffee a year ago. Our mutual passion for photography brought us together. I noticed her work and had to get in touch to tell her how much I loved it. It’s so unique… so real. She captures these authentic moments that tell a complete story in each image. Full of emotion and connection.
One gorgeous winter evening, we met down at the water with her kids. They explored the shore and walked on logs. Looked for crabs and collected shells. Took in the last rays of sunshine. And I captured some of this for her – some moments of her with her beautiful girls.
Then, just a few weeks ago she came and spent a morning with me, my kids and my mom… who has early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease. Just a regular Wednesday morning with my mom. But Felicia captured the most amazing little moments, and put them together in a video, to tell the story of me and my mom, and my kids. I am so grateful for these images, and will treasure them forever.
Thank you, Felicia! xo
